About this resume & cv builder
Most CVs are rejected before a recruiter opens them. Applicant tracking systems parse your file into structured fields, and a two-column layout or a scanned image breaks that parse. This builder produces a single-column, machine-readable CV that survives the first screen and still looks sharp when a human opens it.
Everything runs in your browser. Your name, phone number, work history and photo never leave your device — the PDF is generated locally and downloaded straight to your computer.
How to use it
- 1
Enter your details
Start with your name, contact information and a short professional summary. Add your passport photo if the roles you are applying to expect one.
- 2
Add experience and education
List each role with its dates and a few achievement-focused bullet points. Quantify where you can — portfolio size, revenue handled, team size.
- 3
Check your ATS score
The ATS panel grades your CV on 17 checks that actually affect screening — contact fields, job title, date completeness, quantified achievements and keyword coverage — and tells you exactly what to fix.
- 4
Match it to the job advert
Paste the job description and the tool shows which of its keywords your CV already contains and which are missing, so you can close the gap before you apply.
- 5
Preview and download
Check the live A4 preview, then download the PDF. It saves with a sensible file name like Firstname_Lastname_CV.pdf.
Frequently asked questions
Is this CV builder really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no payment and no watermark. The PDF is generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.
Will my data be stored on your servers?
No. Everything you type stays in your browser's memory. Nothing is uploaded, saved to a database, or sent to us in any form.
Should I include a passport photo on my CV?
For roles in India, the Gulf and parts of Europe, a passport photo is common and often expected. For the UK, US and Canada, it is best left off — many employers there strip photos to avoid bias.
Is this CV format ATS-friendly?
Yes. It uses a single column, standard section headings, real text (not images), and month-and-year date formats — the four things that most often break an applicant tracking system's parser. The builder locks those in, so they cannot be broken by editing.
How does the ATS score work?
It runs 17 checks across contact details, summary, experience, education, skills and formatting, each weighted by how much it affects screening. Failures cost points, warnings cost half. You get a specific fix for every check you do not pass.
Can it check my CV against a specific job?
Yes. Paste the job advert into the 'Match a job description' box and the tool extracts its keywords — including multi-word skills like financial modelling or credit appraisal — and shows which ones your CV already contains and which are missing.
Does the job description I paste get stored?
No. It is analysed in your browser and never transmitted. Nothing you type on this page — the CV, the photo or the job advert — reaches our servers.
