By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting your information, applying for a vacancy, submitting a CV, communicating with us or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.

These Terms apply primarily to candidates/job seekers and, where relevant, to employers and other users of the platform.

  • Matching candidate profiles with available vacancies;
  • Conducting preliminary screening or interviews;
  • Shortlisting candidates based on vacancy requirements;
  • Communicating shortlisted candidate profiles to prospective employers;
  • Coordinating interviews between candidates and employers; and
  • Facilitating communication between candidates and prospective employers.

24atwork.com is not necessarily the employer of a candidate merely because it identifies, screens, shortlists or refers that candidate to an employer.

3. Eligibility to Use the Services

You must provide accurate information and must have the legal capacity required under applicable law to use the Services.

Candidates must be legally eligible to seek employment for the position for which they apply. Where a particular vacancy has age, qualification, experience, location, licensing or other eligibility requirements, the candidate is responsible for satisfying those requirements.

We may refuse or restrict access to the Services where we reasonably believe that information supplied by a user is false, misleading, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful.

4. Candidate Registration and Information

Candidates may be required to provide personal, educational, professional and contact information to use certain Services.

You agree that:

  • Information supplied by you will be accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge;
  • You will update material information when it changes;
  • You will not knowingly submit false qualifications, experience, certificates or employment information;
  • You will not impersonate another person; and
  • You will not submit information belonging to another person without appropriate authority.

You remain responsible for the information you provide to 24atwork.com.

5. CV Preparation and Profile Creation

As part of our recruitment services, 24atwork.com may prepare, format, edit, structure or improve a candidate’s CV or professional profile using information supplied by the candidate.

Our preparation or editing of a CV does not mean that we independently verify every statement contained in it. Candidates remain responsible for ensuring that their CV and profile accurately represent their qualifications, employment history, skills and other credentials.

We may correct formatting, language, structure or presentation, but we will not knowingly create false qualifications or professional experience.

6. Job Listings and Vacancy Information

24atwork.com may provide information regarding vacancies from companies located in Kolkata and other cities.

Vacancy information may include job title, employer, location, salary range, eligibility requirements, experience requirements, working hours and other employment-related details.

Vacancies may be changed, placed on hold, filled, withdrawn or closed by the relevant employer at any time. Accordingly, we do not guarantee that a vacancy displayed or communicated through our Services will remain available when a candidate applies or attends an interview.

Where vacancy information is supplied by an employer or another source, 24atwork.com may rely on that information and may not independently verify every aspect of it.

7. Candidate Screening and Shortlisting

24atwork.com may conduct a preliminary screening or interview and may assess candidate information against requirements provided by an employer.

Shortlisting is based on information available to us and the requirements of the relevant vacancy. Being shortlisted does not constitute an offer of employment and does not guarantee that the employer will conduct a final interview or make an employment offer.

The final decision regarding candidate selection rests with the relevant employer.

8. Sharing Candidate Profiles with Employers

To provide recruitment services, 24atwork.com may communicate relevant candidate information, CVs and profiles to prospective employers.

Information may be shared with employers where reasonably necessary for recruitment consideration. This may include the candidate’s name, contact details, CV, qualifications, experience, skills, location, salary expectations, notice period and other information relevant to the vacancy.

Once information has been provided to an independent employer, that employer may process the information according to its own policies and applicable law. 24atwork.com does not control an employer’s internal recruitment systems or subsequent processing of candidate information.

9. Employer Interviews and Final Selection

24atwork.com may coordinate or communicate details of interviews between candidates and employers.

A candidate may be required to attend a final interview, assessment or selection process at the employer’s office or another location specified by the employer.

Final selection, rejection, salary negotiation, appointment and employment terms are determined by the employer. 24atwork.com does not guarantee selection, appointment or any particular compensation or employment benefit.

10. No Employment Relationship with 24atwork.com

Using our Services or being referred to an employer does not create an employer-employee relationship between the candidate and 24atwork.com.

Unless separately agreed in writing, 24atwork.com acts as a recruitment and manpower facilitator and not as the candidate’s employer.

Any employment relationship created after a successful recruitment process is between the candidate and the relevant employer.

11. Scope of 24atwork.com’s Responsibility After Joining

Unless 24atwork.com has expressly agreed in writing to provide an additional post-placement service, our recruitment facilitation responsibility generally concludes when the candidate is referred to the prospective employer and/or proceeds to the employer’s final recruitment process.

Matters arising after joining an employer, including salary payment, attendance, working conditions, leave, performance, promotion, transfer, workplace policies, disciplinary action, termination, resignation, workplace disputes and employment benefits, are generally matters between the candidate and the employer.

24atwork.com does not accept responsibility for such matters except to the extent required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.

Employers are responsible for their own hiring decisions, employment terms, legal compliance and treatment of candidate information after receiving it.

24atwork.com may suspend or discontinue employer access where we reasonably believe that the employer is misusing candidate information, providing fraudulent vacancy information, engaging in unlawful recruitment practices or otherwise violating these Terms.

15. Recruitment Fraud and Payments

Users should remain alert to recruitment fraud.

24atwork.com may communicate vacancy-related information and recruitment instructions, but candidates should independently verify any request for payment, documents or other information before acting upon it.
