Candidate Employment & Recruitment Policy

Last Updated: 21 September 2026

1. Purpose

This Candidate Employment & Recruitment Policy sets out the terms and conditions governing the use of 24atwork.com’s recruitment and employment-facilitation services by job seekers. 24atwork.com is a unit of Niveum Private Limited (“24atwork.com”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and connects candidates with prospective third-party employers.

This Policy is intended to clarify the respective roles of the candidate, 24atwork.com and the prospective employer. It does not constitute an employment contract between a candidate and 24atwork.com.

2. Role of 24atwork.com

24atwork.com operates as a recruitment and employment-facilitation platform. Depending on the vacancy, we may publish job opportunities, collect candidate information, screen or shortlist profiles, coordinate interviews, conduct assessments, communicate with employers and candidates, and facilitate the recruitment process.

The final decision to interview, select, reject, offer employment to, determine terms for, or employ a candidate rests with the relevant third-party employer unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement.

3. No Guarantee of Employment

Registration with 24atwork.com, submission of a profile or resume, participation in an interview or assessment, shortlisting, recommendation or communication of a vacancy does not guarantee employment.

24atwork.com does not promise or represent that any candidate will receive a job offer, interview, selection, joining date or continued employment. Vacancies may be withdrawn, changed, placed on hold or filled by the employer at any time, subject to applicable law.

4. Third-Party Employer is the Employer

Where a candidate is selected for a position with a third-party organisation, the employment relationship, if any, will ordinarily be between the candidate and that organisation. The third-party employer is responsible for issuing the offer or appointment letter and for establishing the applicable employment terms.

Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, 24atwork.com is not the candidate’s employer merely because it introduced, referred, shortlisted or facilitated the candidate’s recruitment.

5. Recruitment Decisions and Employer Policies

The third-party employer independently determines its recruitment criteria, selection process, interview requirements, background checks, compensation structure, working hours, workplace rules, leave, benefits, probation, performance requirements, transfers, disciplinary processes and other employment conditions.

Candidates should carefully review all documents and terms provided by the prospective employer before accepting employment.

6. Salary, Benefits and Employment Conditions

24atwork.com does not guarantee the salary, incentives, bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, benefits, working hours, location, designation, probation period or other terms ultimately offered by a third-party employer. Any salary or benefit information displayed or communicated during recruitment may be based on information supplied by the employer and may be subject to the employer’s final offer and applicable law.

The employer’s offer/appointment letter and applicable employment terms should be treated as the primary source for the final conditions of employment.

7. Termination, Resignation and Post-Joining Matters

Once a candidate joins a third-party employer, matters concerning continuation of employment, confirmation, appraisal, transfer, suspension, disciplinary action, resignation, notice period, termination, layoff, retrenchment, salary revision and other employment decisions are generally matters between the candidate and the employer.

24atwork.com does not guarantee continued employment and is not responsible for a third-party employer’s decision to terminate, discontinue, modify or otherwise manage a candidate’s employment, except to the extent responsibility is imposed on 24atwork.com by applicable law or by a specific written contractual undertaking.

8. Candidate Eligibility and Accuracy of Information

Candidates must provide complete, truthful and current information, including identity details, education, qualifications, experience, employment history, skills, references and other information requested for legitimate recruitment purposes.

Providing false, forged, misleading or materially incomplete information may result in removal from a recruitment process, withdrawal of an opportunity or other appropriate action, subject to applicable law.

9. Background Verification

Where required by a prospective employer or applicable recruitment process, candidates may be asked to undergo identity, address, education, employment, reference, criminal-record or other lawful verification. Candidates must cooperate with legitimate verification requirements and provide accurate supporting information.

The nature and extent of verification may vary by employer and position.

10. Candidate Consent and Sharing of Information

By submitting a profile, resume or application and using relevant recruitment services, a candidate may authorise 24atwork.com to process and share relevant candidate information with prospective employers and service providers involved in the recruitment process, subject to applicable privacy requirements and the Company’s Privacy Policy.

Candidates should not submit information that they are not authorised to disclose.

11. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates are responsible for:

  • Reviewing job descriptions and employer-provided terms before proceeding.
  • Attending interviews, tests and assessments as scheduled or communicating promptly if unavailable.
  • Keeping contact information and employment information accurate and updated.
  • Maintaining professional conduct when interacting with 24atwork.com, employers and other participants.
  • Protecting their own passwords, documents and personal information.
  • Verifying the authenticity of any unusual payment request or communication claiming to represent 24atwork.com.

12. Fees and Payments

Any candidate fee, if applicable to a particular service, will be disclosed through the relevant terms or communication before the applicable service is provided. No candidate should make an undisclosed payment to an individual claiming to represent 24atwork.com.

24atwork.com does not authorise any employee, agent or third party to demand unofficial cash payments or personal transfers in exchange for guaranteed employment.

13. No Responsibility for Third-Party Employment Outcomes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, 24atwork.com is not responsible for the acts, omissions, representations, employment policies, workplace conditions, compensation practices, recruitment decisions, delays, rejection, cancellation of vacancies or post-joining decisions of a third-party employer.

This provision does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Job Information and Employer Representations

Job descriptions, salary ranges, locations, requirements and other vacancy information may be supplied by prospective employers or other authorised sources. Candidates should independently verify material terms with the prospective employer before accepting an offer.

24atwork.com may correct, update, suspend or remove vacancy information when appropriate.

15. Fraud and Misuse

Candidates must not impersonate another person, submit fraudulent documents, manipulate recruitment systems, misuse another candidate’s account, attempt to improperly influence selection, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.

Candidates should report suspected recruitment fraud, impersonation or misuse to hiring@24atwork.com.

16. Equal Opportunity and Respect

24atwork.com seeks to facilitate recruitment on legitimate, job-related criteria and does not support unlawful discrimination or harassment in recruitment. Candidates should be treated respectfully throughout the recruitment process. Where a concern relates to the conduct or employment practices of a third-party employer, 24atwork.com may receive the complaint and, where appropriate, communicate or escalate it, but the employer may remain responsible for the underlying employment matter.

17. Intellectual Property and Submitted Materials

Candidates retain ownership of materials they lawfully own, subject to any separate agreement. By submitting a resume, profile or other recruitment material, the candidate permits 24atwork.com to use and share it as reasonably necessary for recruitment, administration and related lawful purposes, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

18. Changes to this Policy

24atwork.com may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in services, business practices or applicable law. The updated version may be published on the website or otherwise communicated to candidates.

19. Governing Law

This Policy is subject to applicable laws of India. Nothing in this Policy is intended to remove or restrict any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
